Curry leaves Powder/ Karapodi



                      As these Days its Raining Day and Nights My garden is Full of Greenery..... I grew Curry leaf Plant in My Garden.  This Plant can be grown in any Season but grows huge in Monsoon season.


                When my Curry Leaf plant Grows well I decided to Prepare Spiced curry Leaf Powder which can be taken with Break fast, Lunch time.


              Curry Leaf Powder/Karapodi is South indian Spiced Powder can be Prepared in less time. When I was stucked to Telivision Watching My Favourite Flick Enjoying like Coached Potato And time Gets ahead I skip My curry. A Simple Meal With this Pre- prepared powder along with White Rice is My Lunch....
           

                         
                                 This is Rich in Protein Suggested for Good Diet.






Ingredients:



Curry Leaves - 1 whole bunch / 1cup
Dried Red chillies - 8
Coriander/Dhania Seeds - 2tbsp
Cumin/Zeera seeds - 1tbsp
2tbsp Bengal Gram /Senagapappu
Split Black Gram Dal - 1tbsp
Salt to Taste
Oil - 2tbsp
1 small lemon size/Gooseberry size Tamarind





Method:




1. In a pan heat 1tbsp of Oil Roast Red chillies Fry them till they change into Color.Dont burn them.Remove from Pan.

2. In the same Pan add Coriander/Dhania, Cumin/Zeera seeds toss them continuously till the color changes under Medium Flame.Make sure you dont burn them.Keep them Aside.

3. Again in same pan add 2 tbsp Bengal Gram /Senaga pappu , 2tbsp Split Black Gram.Keep tossing them continuously till the color changes them into red color. approximately for about 2- 3 min.Remove from Pan keep aside.





4. Once all the mixture cools down.First blend the Dals (Bengal gram , Split Black Gram ) into coarse powder.

5. Now add Tamarind blend it for a minute.Again add Curry leaves, Red chillies,Salt to taste,Coriander/Dhania seeds,Cumin/Zeera seeds to the Blender. Give them enough Spins so that it turns out into Fine powder.

6. Adjust the Salt Transfer into Air Tight Container.

7. Serve Hot with Steamed Rice.



                                            Can be Stored for about 20 days..





             Serve it with Idlis drizzled with Clarified Ghee / Any kind of Dosa....
